Acadia’s Mabel arrived on our farm at a year old, having had very little hands-on training. We worked with her diligently to gentle her and gain her trust – and after two full lactations, she has finally made the transition to a little milk cow.

In 2023, Mabel gave us a darling heifer calf, Tin Stone Cranberry Glass, and in 2024 she had Tin Stone Mr. Darcy – absolute perfection and just 20.5″! Cranberry went to live on 100 acres in Missouri with Half ‘N Half Cattle Co and Mr. Darcy has gone to Mississippi to be a herdsire on 80 acres.

Mabel gives about four gallons a day at peak but is currently dried off and pregnant with a due date in late March 2026. She was bred to our summertime herdsire, RRR Holdin’ Strong, and we have every hope that this calf will be as lovely as her previous two!
