Our current herd consists of three milkers, one yearling heifer and three young heifer calves. Additionally, we added a young bull to the mix in early November 2023, but he is doing his time in quarantine before being introduced to the ladies.
We recently concluded the 2023 calving season with a total of seven calves for the year. Two bull calves, Coltrane and Cavalier, and five heifers, Calliope, Confection, Cricket, Charlotte and Cranberry! We have retained three of those heifers – Cricket, Charlotte and Cranberry – and are so thankful for how God blessed us in 2023!
