Honey Bee

Homesteady’s Honey Bee is a bit of a cow lover’s dream come true. I followed her on social media since she was born and always thought she was one of the most beautiful cows I’d ever seen. And when her breeders decided to sell their herd, we couldn’t throw our hat in the ring fast enough! So thankful they entrusted us with this gorgeous girl, she’s a keeper for sure 💛

Honey Bee arrived on our farm in the spring of 2025 and has settled in beautifully – she promptly took to becoming BFFs with Etta and mom to Cricket.

Honey Bee gives about three gallons a day at peak but giving a little less now that she is late in this lactation. She was bred by our summertime herdsire, RRR Holdin’ Strong, and due in April 2026… and we are *so* excited to meet this baby! Between the two of them, the genetics should be outstanding!

Honey Bee measures 42″ at six years old.
