Lilibet

Dexter Corner Lilibet Luv came to our farm in a most unusual way. Her dam, Etta, was purchased by my friend and mentor, Tim O’Donnell. But instead of her going to his farm in Illinois, Dexter Corner, upon purchase, he asked me to keep her on my farm for a bit since she could provide our family with an additional source of milk. We were happy to have her and, in addition to Etta staying with our herd, she was bred by our bull, Doc, a few months later.

Fast forward to November of 2022, Etta calved the most perfect little 21″ heifer! We jumped at the opportunity to add both Etta and Lilibet to our herd just a few months later.

Lilibet had her first calf, Tin Stone Demi Luv, sired by Cedar Ridge Otis, in November of 2024. Lilibet was bred back to Hilltops McLightning and on the morning of November 26th, she showed signs of early labor. We kept our distance and at the 2:00pm check, toes were sticking out! By 2:15, Evangeline Luv was on the ground – Lili did an amazing job delivering a lovely, healthy, look-alike heifer with no assistance ❤️

Lilibet is in her second lactation and currently producing 2.5 gallons with once a day milking. She has a lovely udder with excellent teat placement and good sized orifices – and her cream line is wonderful too!

Lilibet is 42″ at three years of age.
