Hilltops Rango joined our herd in late 2023 and, after a dutiful quarantine period, happily joined our main herd in the spring of 2024. His first effort to settle one of our girls was successful (despite his not quite having turned one yet) and Etta is due to calve, Lord willing, in January 2025!

Rango was just 27″ at three months and measured about 37″ at one year. He should be around 40-41″ at maturity.

Rango came to us all the way from Idaho, from our good friend and fellow mini Jersey breeder, Jessica Pedevilla. His genetics are outstanding as was the care he received as a calf – both essentials for any animal to join our herd. We are anxious to have his first calf on the ground, and would love it to look just like him!
