Memory Lane Sarah was the first miniature Jersey to join our farm. She truly was the epitome of a mini Jersey and there never will be another one equal to her in our eyes – she was in every sense a “dream cow”!

Sarah became ours in May 2018, bred with her third calf. We spent the first six months getting to know each other before she delivered a perfect, tiny heifer, Primrose, right on her due date! After that she blessed us with four more calves, Signet, Augustus, Ballerina and, in September 2023, Charlotte Royale.

Sarah was a true miniature and measured 41″ at the hip at maturity. She was a moderate to heavy milker, especially as she got older, and gave between 4 and 5 gallons of milk a day at peak.

Tragically, our beloved Sarah passed away on October 31, 2023, after a very short but serious bout of pneumonia complicated by post-calving issues, less than two months after delivering her sweet Charlotte. We are absolutely crushed to lose her at just shy of 10 years old as we had the sweetest dreams of spoiling her throughout a long retirement. She is missed more than words can express.
