Years before Sure Shot Sugar Plum Faerie ever set foot on our farm, I asked her then-owner to consider me if she ever decided to let Sugar Plum go. Incredibly, she reached out just a year or so later… and I couldn’t say “yes!” fast enough.
Sugar Plum was one of the loveliest miniature Jerseys I’d ever seen and was even prettier in person. And her personality was just as wonderful – she loved to love on others and would lick you as long as you could stand it. We absolutely adored her and were so honored to have had her on in our herd for as long as we did.
Sugar Plum arrived on our farm in September 2020,and gave us a little bull calf, Hilltop’s Aslan and then a beautiful painted heifer calf, Tin Stone Plum Blossom.
In 2023 we retired Sugar Plum and she was able to spend almost two years enjoying green grass and lots of brushing on a small farm up north, alongside her great-granddaughter, Maple. She passed away peacefully there and is missed by everyone who ever knew her.
Sugar Plum was a true miniature and measured 40″ at maturity.
