Dexter Corner Lilibet Luv came to our farm in a most unusual way. Her dam, Etta, was purchased by my friend and mentor, Tim O’Donnell. But instead of her going to his farm in Illinois, Dexter Corner, upon purchase, he asked me to keep her on my farm for a bit since she was in milk and could provide our family with an additional source of milk. We were happy to have her and in addition to Etta staying with our herd, she was bred by our bull, Doc, a few months later.

In November 2022, Etta calved the most perfect little 21″ heifer, Lilibet Luv, and we jumped at the opportunity to purchase both Etta and her calf from Tim and in January 2023 they both officially joined our herd.

In November of 2024 Lilibet had her first calf, a tiny heifer we named Tin Stone Demi Luv. Just 21″ at birth, and a spitfire from birth, just like her mama!

Lilibet is giving about two gallons on once a day milking and has taken to being a milk cow like a fish to water. She milks out quickly and stands nicely.. as long as she has plenty of feed in front of her! We plan to breed Lilibet to our herdsire, Rango, for her next calf, hopefully sometime in late 2025.

Lilibet is 40″ at two years of age.
